The conference welcomed the presence of many distinguished personalities from the maritime sector, including Mr. Stefanos Gkikas, Deputy Minister of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy, and Mr. Miltiadis Varvitsiotis, former Minister of Shipping and current Chairman of Skaramangas Shipyard, who both provided valuable insights on national maritime strategy and the importance of public-private cooperation.
Additionally, Mr. Pantelis Chinakis-Glaras, President & Managing Director of INSB Class, made a significant contribution to the discussions, offering the perspective of classification societies on safety, compliance, and innovation in the evolving maritime landscape.
