Porsche continues its collaboration with Frauscher Shipyard, launching the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom, a new electric sports boat following the success of the eFantom. Unlike its open counterpart, this model features a closed foredeck, cabin, and classic runabout design. It also includes the all-electric drive system from the Porsche Macan Turbo.
Porsche aims to lead in sustainable mobility, extending its electric vision beyond cars to the water. With Frauscher, the two brands have created a boat that combines Porsche’s E-Performance with maritime luxury. The 850 Fantom is offered in two variants: the classic runabout and the Air, each with distinct design features. The limited First Edition of 25 units will be available.
Powerful All-Electric Performance
Both the 850 Fantom models (8.67 meters long and 2.49 meters wide) feature the rear-axle motor from the Porsche Macan Turbo, delivering 400 kW for exceptional acceleration and performance. The boat’s 100 kWh high-voltage battery and advanced power electronics provide efficient, smooth power transfer. The boat’s suspension system absorbs impacts from waves, ensuring a smooth ride.

Exclusive Design and Customization
The 850 Fantom offers seating for seven and a luxury lounge with sunbathing pads. The cockpit, designed by Studio F. A. Porsche, features sports car-inspired elements, including the Porsche Crest on the headrests. As with Porsche sports cars, customization options are available, including upholstery and hull colors. The first boat, in Oakgreen Metallic Neo, will debut at the “boot Düsseldorf” fair in January 2025.
Performance and Charging
- Maximum speed in Sport Plus mode: 90 km/h (49 kn)
- Range: Up to 100 km at slow speeds, 45 km at cruising speeds (41 km/h)
